This highly anticipated announcement was made after an extensive and competitive selection process that attracted submissions from a diverse group of applicants. The competition received over 22,000 idea submissions within the first 53 days of its launch in September 2022. After thorough scrutiny of all complete and valid ideas, the top 20 were recently announced.
ZS PRIZE was launched with much fanfare in 2021, and its second edition aims to further the cause of finding healthcare innovations and celebrating the ideators on the national stage. The program extends for six months and is divided into five distinct phases: registration, idea submission, mentorship, jury presentation, and winner declaration.
The goal of ZS PRIZE is to discover the best ideas that can make healthcare in India accessible, affordable, and on a large scale. The programme aims to help seed stage startups as well as non-profits, students, young entrepreneurs, and any other registered entities to strengthen their offerings for the global healthcare stage.

The ZS PRIZE Top 20 list includes a diverse group of innovators and companies with tech-led solutions for improving healthcare in India.
The finalists were selected from a large pool of submissions, and they will now move on to the next phase of the ZS PRIZE program, where they will receive mentorship and present their ideas to the jury for a chance to win funding and support.

The ZS leadership team will now mentor these teams, preparing them for the final round. However, only the top 8 teams will advance to the final round, where ZS PRIZE’s eminent jury, chaired by Ravi Venkatesan, a business leader, author, and social entrepreneur, will evaluate the ideas and declare winners in April 2023.
The final pitch round will be an extensive one, with detailed and focused discussions on all aspects of the top 8 ideas.
The ZS PRIZE Jury is a group of accomplished professionals with diverse backgrounds who evaluate the innovative ideas submitted for the competition.
The Jury is chaired by Ravi Venkatesan, a business leader, author, and social entrepreneur. The expertise of the jury ranges from business leadership and entrepreneurship to healthcare and life sciences.

In its inaugural edition, ZS PRIZE received 33,000 registrations, with around 2,800 ideas and solutions submitted for evaluation. The winners of the competition provided innovative solutions for a wide range of medical issues.
For instance, Stamurai’s app to overcome stuttering was the winning solution, and Padmaseetha Technologies’ portable dialysis system was among the runners-up. The first edition recognized eight outstanding healthcare solutions that demonstrated the potential to transform the healthcare sector.
