Maharashtra Minister and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray tests COVID-19 positive

Maharashtra Minister and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday (March 20). He informed about this on this official Twitter handle.

Thackeray said, “On having mild symptoms of COVID, I had myself tested and I am COVID positive. I request everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. I urge everyone to realise that it is extremely important to not let your guard down. Please follow COVID protocols & stay safe.”

Due to the sudden surge in COVID-19 cases, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC as it is called, has issued fresh guidelines for Mumbaikars. As per the new COVID-19 guidelines, which will come into effect from March 22, people visiting malls and shopping centres will have to undergo antigen tests or carry a negative RT-PCR report.
