Kangana Ranaut Reacts to Her Fourth-Time National Award Win, Thanks The Teams of Manikarnika And Panga – Watch

Mumbai: Actor Kangana Ranaut has issued her first statement after winning National Film Award 2021. Kangana won the best actress award for her films Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Panga. Thanking the makers of both the movies, Kangana took to Twitter and released a video statement. ‘National awards have been announced and I won the best actress awards for Manikarnika and Panga. I also directed Manikarnika. I want to thank the writers of the movie as well’, she said. This is the 4th time that Kangana Ranaut won the national award. Earlier in 2015 and 2016, she won the best actress award for Queen and Tanu Weds Manu respectively.

The Central government announced the 67th National Film Award for films from the year 2019. The event was organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The awards honoured the best of the talents from across various film industries in the country including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Marathi among others.

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore was awarded the Best Hindi film award.
