Chelsea are ready to pay a club-record fee to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The west London giants went on a stunning spending spree last month. They brought in eight players for a combined fee of around £300 million.
The outlay is expected to continue at the end of the campaign and Gazzetta claim that Osimhen is their main target to bolster their strikeforce.
The Nigerian star has been in outstanding form for Napoli this term, bagging 14 goals and four assists from just 16 Serie A appearances.
His performances have helped Napoli go 16 points clear at the top of the Serie A. They are likely to win the league after more than 30 years.
If that happens, the Naples outfit are likely to sell the striker this summer. It is claimed that Chelsea could break the bank for him.
They are ready to pay a club-record sum in the region of £120 million for the centre-forward, who is also on the radar of Manchester United.
