What’s new for the 2023 Infiniti Q50?

This year, Infiniti adds up to three years of Infiniti Premium Care complimentary scheduled maintenance on all new 2023 Q50s sold or leased. Infiniti’s optional illuminated grille emblem, previously available only on Red Sport models, is now available on the mid-tier Sensory trim. Saddle Brown leather upholstery is now available on the base Luxe trim.

This four-door luxury sedan is closely related to Infiniti’s sport coupe, the Q60, both of which feature swoopy profiles that refer to the classic G35 and arguably even more classic G37, well over a decade ago. The look is dated, but inoffensive, inside as well as out.

The base powertrain combines a 300-hp twin-turbo V-6 engine with rear-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is available across the lineup.

The Red Sport 400 model increases output to 400 hp.

Regardless of trim level, the Q50 features decent handling that’s dampened by occasionally finicky steering and brake response.

The Q50 features standard leather upholstery, metallic interior trim, Bose audio, and wireless Apple CarPlay. That said, most rivals have bigger rear seats and more cargo capacity.

How much does the 2023 Infiniti Q50 cost?

The base Q50, the Luxe trim, starts at $43,275, about $500 less than last year’s model. The Sensory starts at $49,425 and the Red Sport 400 starts at $57,575. All-wheel drive adds $2,000 across the board.

Where is the 2023 Infiniti Q50 made?

It’s built in Japan.
